President: Norio Nakajima

Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, “Murata”) will provide echorb Wonder Stones, a haptic device developed using technology from Murata Group company MIRAISENS, Inc. (hereinafter, “MIRAISENS”), to NAMJATOWN, an indoor theme park in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, planned and produced by Bandai Namco Experience Inc. The attraction using the echorb, titled Najavu and the Mysterious Pebbles: A Mysterious Experience Attraction Guided by Stones, will be held for a limited time from April 24 (Fri.) to August 30 (Sun.), 2026.

The echorb, developed by Murata and MIRAISENS, is a haptic device that uses 3DHaptics technology to generate unique vibrations that create the illusion of being pulled in a particular direction. At Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, it was featured at Better Co-Being, one of the Signature Pavilions, where it delivered an immersive resonance experience through tactile sensation. Murata is working to expand the applications of the technologies underlying echorb, with the aim of creating new experiential value across a wide range of industries. This marks the first application of the technology at an amusement facility following the close of the Expo.

This is a walk-through mystery-solving attraction in which visitors collect clues at various locations throughout the park, guided by the echorb, and ultimately derive keywords. Murata’s LF antenna technology plays a key role in enabling this experience.
The LF antenna is a communication technology that uses magnetic fields to detect when a person enters or exits an area defined by the fields. It is a core technology that, when linked with the echorb, identifies visitors’ locations and controls the device, enabling an experience in which visitors feel as though they are being guided through the park.
This technology was also used at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan as the core system supporting the resonance experience enabled by the echorb in the Better Co-Being Signature Pavilion. In this new initiative, the technology has been applied and installed throughout the park to support visitors’ mystery-solving experience.

Going forward, Murata will continue to expand the applications of the echorb and its supporting technologies, working to create new experiential value not only in the entertainment sector but across a wide range of industries.
